، وكلها تسير في طريقها الأخير لتُدفن مع صاحبها. نموذجًا خشبيًا فريدًا من عصر الدولة الوسطى، اكتُشف في سقارة ويعرض بالطابق العلوي بالمتحف.

Ancient Egyptians believed that life continued after death, so they furnished tombs with everything necessary to ensure the deceased's comfort and well-being in the afterlife.

This funeral procession model vividly depicts the scene: tables laden with food and drink, along with chests and baskets filled with valuable clothing and jewelry, all making their final journey to be interred with the owner.

A unique wooden model from the Middle Kingdom, discovered in Saqqara, is displayed on the upper floor of the Museum.
