Description

Part of a black granite sundial, consisting of a square gnomon with a flat top, decorated with relief carving showing the doors of a shrine on one side and a figure of Ra-Horakhty on another. The remaining two sides are plain. The scenes are accompanied by hieroglyphic texts, and a separate inscription runs around three sides at the base, naming a priest Ahmose. The sloping part of the object, once attached at the base, is missing.

جزء من ساعة شمسية من البازلت، تتألف من عقرب مربع ذي سطح مستوٍ، مزين بنقوش بارزة تُظهر أبواب معبد على أحد جوانبه وشخصية رع-حوراختي على جانب آخر. أما الجانبان المتبقيان فهما أملسان. وتُصاحب المشاهد نصوص هيروغليفية، كما يوجد نقش منفصل يحيط بثلاثة جوانب عند القاعدة، يُشير إلى اسم الكاهن أحمس. الجزء المائل من الساعة، الذي كان مُثبتاً في القاعدة،
