تمثال مزدوج لسنفر مع زوجته سينتناي وابنته من الكرنك كاشيت. المملكة الحديثة ، الأسرة الثامنة عشر ، ح. ١٥٥٠-١٢٩٢ ق.م ، كان سنفر أحد النبلاء البارزين في المملكة الحديثة الذي شغل منصب رئيس بلدية طيبة في عهد الملك أمنحتب الثاني.

Double statue of Sennefer with his wife Sentnay and daughter, from Karnak Cachette. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1550-1292 BC. Sennefer was one of the prominent noblemen in the New Kingdom who served as the mayor of Thebes in the reign of King Amenhotep II.


Family, power, and devotion — all carved in eternal stone.
This magnificent statue depicts Sennefer, the Mayor of Thebes under Pharaoh Amenhotep II, alongside his wife Sentnay and their daughter, likely Mutnofret.
Carved from granodiorite, this masterpiece was discovered in Karnak and now resides in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
Notice the intricate necklace around Sennefer’s neck and the unusual straps across his chest — symbols of his status and responsibility.
