الأسرة العاشرة
Period within the 1st Intermediate Period, to be taken together with the 9th Dynasty. The division into two dynasties can be traced back to a misinterpretation of Manetho's 'Aegyptiaca' by its editors. The 9th and 10th Dynasties together are also known as the Herakleopolitan period, after the name of the residence, Herakleopolis. Not much is known about the kings of this period, who followed each other in quick succession.
تُعتبر هذه الفترة جزءًا من الفترة الانتقالية الأولى ، وتُؤخذ مع الأسرة التاسعة . ويعود تقسيمها إلى أسرتين إلى سوء فهمٍ من قِبل مُحرّري كتاب "المصرية" لمانيتون . تُعرف الأسرتان التاسعة والعاشرة معًا أيضًا باسم فترة هيراكليوبوليس ، نسبةً إلى مدينة هيراكليوبوليس. ولا يُعرف الكثير عن ملوك هذه الفترة، الذين تعاقبوا على الحكم تباعًا.
